A Car is a Room

The moving shelter

We designed and built a room inside a car — a moving shelter, crafted by hand.
Drawers slide out like secrets; an integrated sink reflects the morning light.
A bed folds down, soft and compact, cradled by custom-built storage.
A small fire crackles, contained and essential.
Every detail is made by hand: wood sanded smooth, curtains sewn stitch by stitch, fabric catching light like home.

It’s not just a van — it’s a lived-in volume, a traveling interior where each object earns its place, each surface carries care. A compact choreography of comfort and function, designed for slowness, presence, and escape.
