“De petits objets”
Alentejo, Portugal
2025
This story begins in Alentejo, Portugal, where the architect's soul met a seventh-generation master potter, amidst fields of cork oaks and golden wheat.
Between two sunsets, they thought, designed, ground, manufactured.
The region of Alentejo is a beauty in itself.
Yellow in the summer. Green in the spring.
Always quiet. The land is dotted with cork oaks, whitewashed houses, and the occasional wandering goat.
Time here isn’t measured in hours, but in shadows.
It’s a place where time seems to stretch, where one drifts along with a gentle serenity.
A place where the present lingers a little longer than usual.
These objects are closely linked to the places they come from, to the smells of spring, the colors of the fields, the summer skies. Each object is imagined with care and enriched by a small detail that makes it unique.
