A house to rehabilitate

The property was bought by American artist Lucas Reiner.
The pandemic forbidding any type of travels led to the idea of a new way to communicate and exchange with the client : a film. Here, the immateriality of film media was used to document particular aspects of the house and communicate with the client. Coming together in an artistic collaboration — Gorvell Studio, film director João Paulo Abreu, and performer Ivana Sehic — was created a relation at distance with Reiner, exchanging ideas and a possible artwork collaboration.
Moreover, Camille designed a machine, inspired by the multiplicity of the cow’s stomachs in order to reuse the existing materials. The machine is able to grind existing materials into three different thickness, allowing the reuse of the materials through creating various shapes and strengths.
